A 100% Flowing from the Source hot spring using its own source. The hot water, which has an impressive white cotton-like Yunohana, has a weak alkaline and gentle texture. When you enter the bathing room, the faint scent of sulfur is pleasant.

A garden-style open-air bath surrounded by nature. You can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons, with fresh greenery or autumn leaves. In particular, the women's bath is sure to be healed in a bath with colorful roses floating on it.

In front of the entrance, there is a Japanese garden that takes advantage of the difference in height, and you can take a walk. A hot spring inn where you can feel comfortable here and there, such as the courtyard and the lobby.

Characters

Nishi-san
Nishi-san
He is an orthodox hot springs lover and particular about quality of springs. He loves the hot springs flowing from the source, the hot water with a presence, and the rustic atmosphere.
Kita-san
Kita-san
He doesn't care much about quality of hot springs. He loves the open-air bath, and prefers hot springs that have visible features such as good views.

(→ Continuation from Oigami Onsen Yumotohanatei)
This time, Nishi-san and Kita-san have been visiting to Oigami Onsen. After seeing Fukiware Falls, the two returned to Oigami Onsen, and then headed to "Anabarayu Toshukan".

Exterior

Oh, this is it. It's a pretty good Ryokan.

In front of the entrance, is this a Japanese garden? Is it possible to take a walk because there is a passage?

If we have time, let's walk after take a bath.

They've entered. After the reception, the two passe through the lobby and head for the bathing room immediately.

Oigami Onsen Anabarayu Toshukan undressing room

Undressing room

Oops!? The undressing room is like this ... It's surprisingly.

You put your clothes here. It's eccentric, or in short, it's strange ...

... Because it's round, the stability of the baggage is bad ... Rather than designing it like this, It would be better to line up normal lockers, I guess.

Exactly.

Enter the bathing room. There are two doors to the bathing room, which can be entered from either.

Oigami Onsen Anabarayu Toshukan indoor bath

Indoor bath

Oh, a rock tub! It's not bad, you know.

Hey, it smells a little sulfur. Good.

It's nice that the windows are big and bright. I feel that the bathtub is a little small.

Indoor bath

They've got in the bathtub at once.

By the way, the temperature is ... well, it's just right.

Well, it's easy to get in.

The bathtub next is ... a little hot. But it's all acceptable.

Oh! These are! Amazing Yunohana!

The east bank of Katashina River was once called "Anabara Onsen" and was distinguished from Oigami Onsen.

Oigami Onsen Anabarayu Toshukan yunohana

Yunohana

Oh, really. It's big ... I thought Yunohana was like garbage, but it really looks like a flower.

Yeah, it's rare to see such a big and beautiful Yunohana ...

Next, they've gone to the open-air bath.

Oigami Onsen Anabarayu Toshukan open-air bath

Open-air bath

Well, it looks like a Japanese garden, doesn't it?

Exactly. It feels pretty good. There are a lot of Yunohana in this.

The temperature is just right, too. It's not large, but the scenery isn't bad, and this is nice. You can take a long bath.

And the weather is nice today.

Open-air bath

Nishi-san and Kita-san enjoyed the greenery of the mountain and the hot water of Oigami Onsen. After taking a bath, take a break in the lobby.

Phew, it was so paradise.

Exactly. It was a nice hot spring as rumored. Especially Yunohana.

Well, the impression of Yunohana has changed.

Oigami Onsen Anabarayu Toshukan lobby

Lobby

In the lobby, the sloping summer sunshine shining through the windows reflects off the table, is illuminating the ceiling and walls like a spotlight.

And, it's quite calm, this lobby too.

Exactly. I don't want to move anymore.

Nishi-san and Kita-san decided to take a walk in the Japanese garden in front of the entrance for the next time, and they decided to relax on the sofa in the lobby.

(August 2018)

Japanese word "Yunohana" means "Flowers of hot water".

Impression & rating

The hot water is flowing from the source and is mild and has a faint sulfur smell. The beautiful cotton-like Yunohana is worthy of a special mention.

Impression & rating

The open-air bath is quite cozy. Because the bathtub is a little small, it is recommended to visit at a time when it is not crowded.

Confectionery workshop Kashinoki's Baumkuchen

Confectionery workshop Kashinoki's Baumkuchen

This is Baumkuchen of the Confectionery workshop "Kashinoki" in the city of Numata. I don't know if it's been since the writer Banana YOSHIMOTO praised it, but it's a fairly famous shop. So, I don't think it's necessary to introduce it here, but when you eat a bite, the aroma of rum spreads and it's delicious. When you come to Numata, it's a good idea to stop by.
