Characters

Nishi-san: He is an orthodox hot springs lover and particular about quality of springs. He loves the hot springs flowing from the source, the hot water with a presence, and the rustic atmosphere.

Kita-san: He doesn't care much about quality of hot springs. He loves the open-air bath, and prefers hot springs that have visible features such as good views.

This time, Nishi-san and Kita-san have been visiting to Oigami Onsen. After seeing Fukiware Falls, the two returned to Oigami Onsen, and then headed to "Anabarayu Toshukan".

Exterior

In front of the entrance, is this a Japanese garden? Is it possible to take a walk because there is a passage?

They've entered. After the reception, the two passe through the lobby and head for the bathing room immediately.

Oops!? The undressing room is like this ... It's surprisingly.

You put your clothes here. It's eccentric, or in short, it's strange ...

Enter the bathing room. There are two doors to the bathing room, which can be entered from either.

It's nice that the windows are big and bright. I feel that the bathtub is a little small.

Oh! These are! Amazing Yunohana!

♨ The east bank of Katashina River was once called "Anabara Onsen" and was distinguished from Oigami Onsen.

Yeah, it's rare to see such a big and beautiful Yunohana ...

Exactly. It feels pretty good. There are a lot of Yunohana in this.

The temperature is just right, too. It's not large, but the scenery isn't bad, and this is nice. You can take a long bath.

And the weather is nice today.

Nishi-san and Kita-san enjoyed the greenery of the mountain and the hot water of Oigami Onsen. After taking a bath, take a break in the lobby.

Phew, it was so paradise.

Exactly. It was a nice hot spring as rumored. Especially Yunohana.

Well, the impression of Yunohana has changed.

Lobby

In the lobby, the sloping summer sunshine shining through the windows reflects off the table, is illuminating the ceiling and walls like a spotlight.

Nishi-san and Kita-san decided to take a walk in the Japanese garden in front of the entrance for the next time, and they decided to relax on the sofa in the lobby.

Impression & rating

The hot water is flowing from the source and is mild and has a faint sulfur smell. The beautiful cotton-like Yunohana is worthy of a special mention.

This is Baumkuchen of the Confectionery workshop "Kashinoki" in the city of Numata. I don't know if it's been since the writer Banana YOSHIMOTO praised it, but it's a fairly famous shop.
